Designer Julia Grath was working with a NYC client, a growing and well-funded tech firm. They were in need of furnishing a 20,000 square foot space. As an out-of-town designer, Julia had never designed a space in NYC.
She needed a good NYC dealer to assist her. Her detailed brief outlined a need for an office space designed to attract younger talent. After a meeting with several firms, Julia partnered with Benhar as she felt Benhar best understood her needs and design vision.
Benhar designer, Katie worked hand-in-hand with Julia to specify and curate the right combination of furnishings, flooring, glass walls, and finishes to make her design a reality. As a results of the full service delivery both Julia and her client loved the space and the partnership resulted in Benhar partnering with Julia on two addtional NYC projects.
“Financial Firm's High-End Expansion”
Robert Puz is a highly successful NY banker with his firm growing from 20 to 200 people over an 8 year period. The firm was looking for a very high-end installation that could stand the test of time and had a very handsome budget.
Having worked with Benhar on other projects, Robert recommended a collaboration with Benhar to the design firm he hired. He trusted Benhar to deliver on his project’s expectations.
Benhar associates, Liz, Katie and Andy assisted the design firm by thoroughly reviewing their plans and specifications to ensure the products chosen would perform as intended. If an item did not work for their space, they came up with other solutions.
The result was a beautiful installation with products from manufacturers like Herman Miller, Innovant, Geiger, Allermuir and Davis. This highly collaborative effort placed a loyal Benhar client in their new space on time and within budget.
