SIFMA- a leading trade association for broker-dealers, investment bankers and asset managers, partnered with MKDA and Benhar Office Interiors to create a light and airy environment for it's employees. Despite their flexible work culture, they wanted to provide a designated space for each one of their employees while also needing a boardroom that would be suitable for 40+ executives. With the team keeping wellness at the focal point of design, height-adjustable desking was selected for the main area while low-rise was selected in the private offices. The space features a minimalist design aesthetic and neutral color palette, which provides a soothing backdrop for the association’s work and highlights sweeping city views. As a meeting-driven organization, it was crucial for the design to incorporate conference rooms of various sizes and purposes into SIFMA’s new workplace. The boardroom, in particular, needed to deliver a highly functional, seamless experience for a large number of high-powered executives and clients.
